On the way back from temple, I noticed the leaves that have recently blossomed on the trees in my neighborhood shaking and shivering in the cold wind. They whispered in my ears, a sort of shrill whistle that the wind carried off into the distance. They said, "Awww c-crap. We came out t-too early. It's f-f-fucking cold out hereeeee!" Their voices shriveled away, as I walked on.
I felt sorry for them.
